O.k. I think most of us would agree that I would be wonderful if the park service could buy Little Maho{Maho Campground property},myself included. So I have "3" questions for you on it's fate.If the National park gets it's hands on it would you like to see the campground go away after the lease is up?{It would be vacant land with a trial to the beach i'm guessing.} Or would you like to see a campground there much like the one on Cinnamon Bay with reasonable pricing? Now here's the last question,if the National park doesn't buy it and a private party does, what would you like to see happen? Bed and Breakfast?Hotel/condo?Private homes?Ect? This would be interesting to hear what you have to say. I will start:One part of me wishes for a campground for family's on a tight budget so that they can enjoy the park. The other says that it should remain vacant with a trail down to the beach.I guess I picked 2! I don't know, but I still think we should offer a lower asking price...say $25,000,000 (yep 25 million) have a lottery at $250 per ticket (need to sell 100 thousand tickets) and winner takes all with the agreement that no mega complex or ugly hotel is built - and all the forum family gets to stay free (at least once) :) Oh, and don't forget I'll negotiate the deal for everyone

I was just reading article from the newspaper about the Big Maho purchase and was wondering - who owns the land upon which the campground sits?

Is it an individual? Not putting in an offer, just curious:)
