Noodling around, I found a picture identified as a Spotted Scorpionfish that looks similar.

That is what I was thinking. I know it is poisonous, but maybe not deadly.

I've seen that fish before, but I did not know it is poisonous! Good to know.

The park service should post this fish pic on every beach with a warning:"Do not stand on coral or this may get you."
Maybe then they will get the picture.Parafins....
