Does anyone have pictures of Gifft Hill area?

Because we've decided we need a change after staying in Great Cruz Bay area for 6 years we are staying at Cloud 9 on Gifft Hill next July. Our adult children usually join us for a week but are undecided if they will like the Gifft Hill location. We'd like them to stay with us rather than rent their own villa so......can anyone share some pictures that will give them a feeling for the area and the views "up on the hill?"
Thanks

Here's a couple from Palm Villa, which is right next door to Cloud 9. You'll feel like you are on top of the world!
Access to Cloud 9 is great.
Happy Planning!

Hey SnorkelGirl,
Where are you in Cali? We live in Northern CA. We stayed at Cloud 9 in July 07 for a week. Loved it. Going back in March 08 and staying there again. We wanted to stay there in July 08 but it is already reserved. We will just have to find a different villa. If you want to see pictures, send me a private message with your email and I'll get them off to you.

To be more specific, Palm is between Cloud 9 and Seawatch.
It's got beautiful views and you will like Cloud 9. Friends stayed their our first year on island and it was nice. The views are really nice! You don't have alot of villas in your view so you don't feel as crowded as you do in some areas.

Slap your grown children and tell them if you want plenty of room, knock-out view and FREE LODGING, then stay with mommy & daddy!!
The money they save can be spent on day sails or BVI trips!
Cloud 9 rocks!

Here are a couple of photos from Cielo Vista on Gifft Hill. It is located right next to Villa Capiz.
You do overlook a lot of houses on the hillside. But, the view out towards St. Thomas, and the other little islands, was amazing!

You guys are killing me. We decided to take a break from 3 years straight to the USVI's and are heading to Barbados in 2008, instead. Now I just looked through all of our trip reports & photos and am now depressed!
Thanx alot!! LOL

Sue - thanks for posting those pictures.
We will be at Cielo Vista soon - just look at my ticker!
Every little mention of Gift Hill, Cielo Vista, or even STJ for that matter makes it so hard to wait!

Augie/Steve,
Will this be your first stay at Cielo Vista?
If so - you will be SPEECHLESS! We have some other photos of the pool area & interior shots that we could share with you. But, truthfully - you might be better off just seeing it yourself for the the first time - and getting that personal "Wow" factor.
24 days to go! You lucky, lucky soul!!
If you happen to meet the owners (who live downstairs) - say "hi" from Jim & Sue from MA - we stayed there in April of 2006, shortly after they started renting it out. They are lovely people!
Again, congratulations on your excellent choice of accomodations!

Yes - not only that, but our first time on STJ other than a day trip.
We will certainly pass along your greetings if the owners are there during our stay.

Who is the rental agent for Cielo Vista? Now I'm thinking about 2009 - eventhough EVERY YEAR FOR THE LAST 7 YEARS IT IS OUR LAST TIME ON ST. JOHN! Ha! Sure - I'll keep coming back until they have to carry me off the ferry and maybe after that!
