Gettin ready to book a flight for May just wanted to pass this along, man were hopelessly addicted haven't taken the November trip yet. Gotta react to those cheap airfares! By the way this Orbitz search engine is awesome if your trying to plan ahead and find the cheapest fares for any month at a glance. Make sure to go to the airlines web site to save a little more though. Spirit has a special today only to take $24 dollars more if booked today $298 each total YEEEEEEEE HAAAAAAAAAA! Hope someone else can take advantage of these deals.

Captain K - not to be a buzz kill on your amazing deal with Spirit but have you read the recent threads on the nightmares that people are dealing with from Spirit? It might be worth the extra $ to book the next cheapest airline available after Spirit...like NW, AA. I recently bought on AA for $220 RT in October.

Have been tempted by Spirits unbelievable deals but if I went to the airport to fly to St John and for some reason didn't end up getting there that day...or the next...I'd be out of my mind crazed!! Sounds like some of their problem is due to being small and if one plane becomes disabled they don't have enough planes to pull out a back-up. Sounds like their second problem is abysmal customer service.
On the other hand, if you've already pulled the trigger and bought with Spirit..I'm sure you'll be fine and hope you have another great trip!

No problem Mon! Not a buzz kill. Ya just take your chances and hope for the best. Heard a thousand bad stories about U S AIR and never had any trouble with them yet in at least a dozen flights. Actually our flight in Nov with AA has me more concerned but for $214 apeice total couldn't pass them up either crappy connections and don't arrive till 9pm but travel day don't count as a vacation day in my book anyways. For us we like to go as much as we can on a budget. It's all about just being there on the islands nothin fancy just being as you are and soakin up the island lifestyle. Yea Baby St. John Nov 2007 and May 2008!!!!

Cptn - it's people like you on this board that help me to feel like I'm normal. October will be my 6th trip in 11 months and I'm so excited you'd think it had been years! Can't wait!! Most of my friends just think I'm weird but a cherished few "get it". Lucky my husband is included in the "get it" crowd! Thanks. Crazy likes company. "island" crazy that is.
