Leaving Wednesday

We will be leaving for St. John on Wednesday...18 nights in paradise. 4 nights at Caneel and 2 weeks at Peace and Plenty.
No yippeeees or wooo-hooos for me...a few of you know the reason for this trip. I am thankful that my family can be together in a beautiful place to honor Melissa's life and mourn her passing.
Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers, it is a most difficult time for all of us. I wouldn't ask this of you, except I feel that we have become "friends" in a certain way. Thanks...mia

Will be thinking of you - if you would like to meet for a drink while you are here that would be nice to meet but I understand if you would like to "just be" this trip.

mia, have a restful and peaceful trip.
I'm not sure what your plans are while at Caneel, but you might want to check out the offerings at the Self Centre. They have some interesting choices that you and the rest of your group might like--yoga on the beach, massage, meditation...things like that.

I hope you and your family have a wonderful trip. I remember you posting about one of your favorite songs a while back "Sweet Melissa" as I recall. I'm sure you'll feel her presence all around with the beauty of the island. I'll be thinking of you.
