Was in St John a couple of weeks ago and bought a half pound of kiss of the Jumbie. What is the flavor of that Coffee? To me it tasted like mango but I could be wrong.

I knew about the chocolate but don't think I would have guessed coconut. It does have that little "something" though. Did you buy beans? you can see the cocoa on them.

I am a real fan of different coffees and Kiss of Jumbie sounds like something I must try. Must get some when we return in November. Thanks for this post.

I don't normally like flavored coffee but this one is nice. Subtle. Not like you are drinking something with syrup.

I've never really been that into flavored coffees (with the exception of a couple from New Orleans), but Kiss of the Jumbie is just about the only coffee I drink any more. I order it from Ruth and she always gets it to me right away! But why pay for postage just for coffee? I always have her throw in some Cruz Bay Grill Rub, or one of those trinkets I saw and didn't get when I was there(like the entire store!) I brought KOJ back for some friends and one friend instantly sniffed out the coconut, which I didn't pick up on. But I can certainly taste it now!

I am a KISS OF THE JUMBIE addict!! I just got 4lbs in the mail from Ruth last week.
I order the Decaf and make a pot every afternoon. It's really good with the vanilla creamer and also on ice! Add a little of the right kind of alcohol and you've got a really good drink. Marybeth didn't you make a martini style drink with leftover KOJ one time?? I think you posted the pic on Food Porn.
Yum, yum, yum............
