Aw shucks, you'll just have to spend the day planning your next trip instead of working.

I watched the TODAY show this morning and saw all the storms happening in NY. Enjoy some quiet time at home, or start packing

We got pounded last night. Hubs thinks lightening actually hit the house because it knocked our breaker box out.

What do you do when you can’t go to work and are stuck at home ….
1. Break out the Rum and get the blender whirling.
2. Crank up the Bob Marley CD.
3. Surf your favorite VI Forum.
4. Walk around the house in a bathing suit and flip flops.
5. ENJOY – ENJOY – ENJOY.

Yes, I heard that this morning on the radio. I'm in CT, just about 2 hours from the city and fortunately we were spared from such storms. Best recommendation goes to FlaGeorge, too funny (LOL). Ali~

This is why, as a "Work from Homer", the people in my office up in NJ can't understand why I can't wear shoes when I'm up there. I parade around the office in my socks. I'm not kidding folks; after 2 years at home, I can no longer wear shoes for more than a few hours at a time. My feet start throbbing.
And, then when it's time to leave to go to the airport, I duck into a side office, put on my shorts, Hawaiian shirt and sandals and head out.
Working at home means no one ever needs to know whether or not you've showered.

If I worked from home I'd be on this forum even more!
(I'd sure like to give it a try though!)

Fla Geroge...
I got to start thinkn more like you.
Instead I did three loads of laundry and filed a bunch of mail. At 11:30 the MTA website said things were up and running so I headed in. The railroad was fine, but when I got to Penn Station no downtown trains. Called a girlfriend for lunch to kill an hour, but still no trains, soooo I came home.. Stopped by another girlfriends when I got home and she offered me a Peroni. See Im getting a little better.
