Anyone else on island December 1 -11?

I know I've asked this before but that was months ago! So is anyone else going to be on STJ Dec. 1-11, 2007?
This is the first time in nine years that we're going down to STJ by oursleves (sans friends or family) and Hubby and I would be game for a meetup one night during this time frame.
Anyone else want to come out and play? We don't bite and we have good references: Flip Flop, FLA George and Jan&MikeVA can attest that we aren't serial killers

I wish we were going to be there, but we have to wait til next summer. I used to live in Burke back in the early 80's, it was like living in the country back then. Same with Leesburg where we are now.

Hey Gromit, long time lurker here, I'll be on island during that time frame, I've met Jan&MikeVA a couple of times including last year. Who else is up for the Beach Bar? I know you're out there.

I think we talked before, Mel and I will be down there those dates. We will be up for a night out, we are bringing 3 girls with us and I'm sure they will not want to hang out with us. They are in their 20's. We live in Manassas right down the road from you also. Sounds like a lot of fun, you pick the day and time at the beach bar and we will meet you.

Knock me over with a feather, GOOD to hear from you! Wow, we'll look forward to seeing you again this year. The Beach Bar, jazz, and friends...........what a great time we had last year! How was the Boat Parade on STT???
Gromit, you know we'll be there, just haven't set the dates yet. Something like the 3rd to the 13th. We'll plan something for sure. Jazz Jam at the Beach Bar is fun, but it does get kind of loud for talking. BillinVa said something about Vie's Beach one afternoon, let's keep in touch!

StJohnMike, DC Photo and Jan & Mike-- I can see the gathering shaping up already!! DCphoto I would LOVE to meet you since we are in similar/related fields (me PR, you press)
Beach Bar it is. Let's settle on a date when we get a bit closer, or does anyone have a suggestion? I'm guessing a mid-week gathering would be less crowded--or is that an incorrect assumption?
Does everyone have a "have I seen you on the forum T-shirt" ? If so, I'm seeing a photo op!

I'm there Nov.29th to Dec 6.
If you all set a date and time for the beach Bar, let me know what it is, and I'll try my best to get there, but depending where we are, on the boat, we might not be able to make it. I hope we can!
