I'm more of a lurker than a poster (I think both of those are words, lol) but I wanted to say that I love checking on this board every day! Everyone here is so friendly and non-confrontational (now THAT'S a word) and just seem to share their love of St John and St Thomas with each other. I just finished reading the report from, snorkelgirl, I think it was, who talked about how much this board enriched her trip and i remember feeling the same way when I went. Anyway, thanks to all of you for being so approachable and interesting and generous by sharing your knowledge, memories and your beautiful pictures!

I was once a snorkelGIRL but now I'm much too old so I've decided to be snorkelQUEEN (my daughter posts as snorkelprincess) I love this board too - lots of good stuff and cool people. Keep lurking and posting. The note at the end of your post is PERFECT! I hate returning to the real world ever time we leave SJ (damn cell phones....etc) so I just keep dreaming of our return.

I love it too! I lurked for about a month and then just had to join in. Stop=the=lurkin and share share share!!

Yes, this is a great place. I often log on when I am stressed to just kind of escape and sometimes I visit at 3 am to help me get back to sleep.

YES, Cali girl you did help me post a pic so everyone could see what I looked like, it might have been on the other board though... I can't remember! Some day you'll have to show me how to get my own avatar or whatever the pics below your names are called!!!

And, mbw, I lost most of my pictures when my computer crashed (yes, I know that is why I should have them on a site that stores them, lol) but my daughter is going to send me all she has of my STJ trip so hopefully I'll have them soon to share. That's why I LOVE looking at everyone elses pics so much!

I know what you mean about computers crashing! I just bought a 500GB external hard drive for my pics just in case! My computer was giving me so much grief lately I ended up having to totally dump it and start over! I have been doing Microsoft updates for days now! I am happy to say all is well again!

This explains my recent absence for those that have noticed!

I'm glad that I'm not the only one with different names on different boards. This one is my favorite though.

You are not the only ones who frequent the "other" board. I must confess to being one also. I also use another name.
