Anyone been to the Atlantis Cove in Paradise Island

Anyone ever been to the Atlantis Cove. My friend still hasn't booked his honeymoon for August and I told him I would help him. I gave him many suggestions but unfortunately, he still has not decided. They want to keep it within 3-4 hours and want to be on a beach with an infinity pool. If you guys recall, they want a tv and phone as well. They also would like to rent out fishing charters. They are not interested in a villa so St John ia out. He liked Eden Rock and Isle de France in St Barths but now they don't have availability for that week.
Any help would be much appreciated.

What about Turks & Caicos, Cabo San Lucas (great fishing, supposedly), or Anguilla?
If your friend was considering St. Barth's, I would think the Bahamas (excepting the Out Islands) would be very far from his speed. St. Barth's is extremely high end and safe, and the Bahamas are... well, a nice weekend getaway, but Nassau/Paradise Island is not romantic in my personal opinion.
Cuisinart on Anguilla is an exceptional resort. Anguilla's beaches are beautiful (some say the best in the Caribbean). It's also near St. Barths and St. Martin so day trips would be possible.
I can't recommend specific places in T&C or CSL as I've never been, but I say it never hurts to start with tripadvisor.com.

Atlantis is huge. Been there a few times, although I haven't been to the Cove as it just recently opened. The whole place is busy. Don't know if I'd pick Atlantis if I wanted quiet and secluded for my honeymoon. I would however, consider the Ocean Club Resort, which is a few minutes from Atlantis by shuttle (Escalade shuttle if you're a guest at the Ocean Club). You have much more peace and quiet at the Ocean Club with full priveleges at Atlantis. The beach and pool at the Ocean Club are gorgeous.
Atlantis has great restaurants, casinos, waterpark slides etc. It's pricey, but beautiful. When it's sold out it's tough to get pool chairs and they should make dinner reservations ahead of time to get their restaurants of choice. Good luck!

I suggested Anguilla and Cuisenart. I will check into the dates. Atlantis cove's suites are already sold out. What about St Martin? anyone been there? How about Hotel L'Esplanade

I've been to St. Martin four times. L'Esplanade is beautiful. It's not on the water, but it's very close to Orient Beach and the Grand Case beaches (Petit Plage and Grand Case Beach). I've got pictures of L'Esplanade from 2004 on my website, but I don't give out the address widely. PM me if you want them.
I can tell you pretty much anything else you want to know about St. Martin. It's relatively safe, you need to rent a car (I have a couple of good recommendations), and the food is outstanding.
I think at St. Martin/Anguilla combo is a very nice honeymoon. St. Martin has a lot of action, Anguilla is quiet and laid back... it's a nice contrast.
