To my pity party!!!!!!!!

If you know me you know that I Honeymooned on STJ last October - how could you not know, I never stop talking about it! Well, in a word the trip was perfect, on many levels!

Since then......
We were in Tampa in mid December visiting friends. It rained the entire time we were there.

In February we were in Key West celebrating my 40th birthday. There were record lows while we were there. Seriously it was freezing. I had to buy warm clothes.

In June we were away for a long weekend. The day before we left Charlie had an emergency root canal and while we were away he got Acute Pharyngitis and had a fever for most of the time we were away.

We left NJ on July 4th for our annual family trip to Maine. On the ride up I picked up a BOLT in my tire (car is 3 months old) and ended up with a new tire which was not in the vacation budget! While eating my first (and only as it turned out) lobster of the trip, I was working on a leg when I heard a funny noise - yeah that would be the sound of my FRONT tooth cracking!!!!!!!!
And lastly, as I said, we left on the 4th, returned on the 14th - first time we spotted the sun was the 12th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So what does all this tell me?????????? I say it indicates I should ONLY vacation on St. John. I gotta tell you, that works for me!

Glad to be home in NJ - thanks for looking for me!

Ewwe, Mary Beth. And I was worried about booking our air to St John on Friday the 13th. Was afraid to wait any longer as I thought the FF flights would disappear!!
So sorry to hear of your travel troubles. But at least you didn't have wonton's on the ceiling at Bongo Bongo!!!

I agree with RickG, Drop everything (hopefully not on you foot)and make St. John plans NOW, you NEED it,and if that not possible, welcome back to NJ??????

Wow girl, you two are on a roll of bad vacation luck! I certainly hope you are going to leave the cloudy skies at home since I will be on STJ the same time as you. Your luck is due to change.

Cali Girl... Isle of Palms would be next year. April perhaps - just in the planning stages. However, I feel a Bruce tour cooking up so no plans are concrete until I know where the tour might take me!

If I don't go to Europe I might choose to follow the tour on the west coast. I will look you up!

Mary Beth, First of all, welcome back. We really missed you! Sorry about all the travel woes, that really stinks. I am in agreement that STJ is the only place to go. Bill and I are already looking at other villas for next June. Hope your luck is better in the days coming!!

Well, all this just means that you used up all your bad vacation luck, and your St. John trip will be perfect!
