Has anyone ever stayed at Island Manor? It is rented by an off island company (which makes me nervous). I'm wondering about the roads to get to it as well as any information regarding the villa. It appears to have in interior staircase which is a plus for us. We would like to find someplace where the bedroom entrances aren't from the outside (we're traveling with kids). Any info anyone has would be appreciated.

As parent of a 3 year old, I understand your search for a villa with internally opening bedrooms. I recently searched for such a place for a stay we have planned for next year.
I looked at Island Manor but could not tell. The villa company may be able to.
If you're not locked into a 4 bedroom; we opted to go with 3 BR Andante by the Sea. Two bedrooms open up onto the main closed-in area, the 3rd (for my parents) opens onto a deck.
Let me know if you find something.

Hi DiverDrew,
Thanks for responding. I was hoping some of the veterans had stayed at Island Manor or at least knew something about it. I'm going to call the rental agency to ask about the villa tomorrow (couldn't get around to it today).
Have you looked at LeLapin II? It has an internal staircase. We started looking for villas in April of 2008 in April 2007. LeLeapin II was already booked nearly the entire month of April 2008. I'm not sure when you're traveling but you may want to check it out. We will have a toddler with us as well so I liked the idea of the pool being a little further away from the villa.
PS. I ready your post regarding which vehicle. Two years ago we had 4 adults and 2 kids (both in car seats). We had the Montero and it was really uncomfortable!!! We went with the Durango this year plus we had one more with us. This year we had 4 adults 2 kids and 1 infant. The Durango was a dream compared to the Montero!
