My wife and I are planning our third trip to STJ in June 08....Only been on island in August and September...any warnings about going in June vs other times...more bugs than usual, rain, etc. etc...Thanks

Been to STJ twice the last week of June and twice the last week of July. Both times we had wonderful weather.

Rain was usually at night. Water was calm and not cold when you first get in. The last week of June can be a bit more crowded because it being the beginning of Carnival so keep that in mind.

We took our first trip there this June, and the weather was great! We had rain off and on one day, and it rained overnight most nights, but the other 6 days were beautiful. The sun it pretty intense, so when it is overcast or cloudy, you almost welcome it.

We will definitely go again in June.

We have been to STJ 2 times, both in June and both were great!
The weather was beautiful and the bugs weren't a problem. Maybe we were lucky, but I think it seems like an ideal time to go.

We've only been to STJ in February and in June and WAY preferred June. Based on our experience the water was warmer, seas calmer, weather better, and accomodations are more affordable. We loved it so much we are booked for June of 08!

We've been there the last six Junes. Always around the 15th. It's always been perfect. This year was especially good. It rained twice at night while we slept. I haven't been there any other time but June so I can't compare for you.

Until this year, we'd always gone in late July through late August...but this year we went for 10 days at the beginning of June. The only difference I really noticed was that it seemed more crowded this trip.
