We can fly from Atlanta to STT for $330. Our trip is not until November. Should we go ahead and book it???

That's a pretty good price. We leave in a couple of weeks and bought our fare back in Feb (so about five months out) and paid $299 on Spirit out of ATL with ALL taxes, but that was flying Fri-Fri. $330 is pretty darn low especially if it's a weekend - I'd book it.

BTW, I've been looking since Feb and have yet to see Delta go on sale from ATL.

Thanks alw - I have also been checking the Delta flights (better times and no connections) and the fare went up overnight from $650 to over $800! Now I am getting nervous so will probably go ahead and book the Spirit Air flights. I am anxious to hear how your flights go - especially the connections in Ft. Lauderdale - they don't give you much time for the connection on the flight down.

My friend flew Spirit in May and said all went fine, even the stop in Ft. Lauderdale. No problems at all!

jdw -

I'll post a trip report when I return and address how the flights went. I am a bit nervous about the connection as well, but we're doing carry on so that's one less thing to worry about. FLL is typically a peaceful airport compared to ATL (much smaller, less people, etc) so I'm not as worried as I am when we connect out of MIA on American.

I think flying during off season on a Friday should help... I hope.
