Hi,
I havent posted here for some time, but I lurk from time to time . Anyway, last December we stayed at Lavender Hill and were satisfied, but I remember hearing (from Ruth, Hi Ruth!) about another place, further up the hill from town, then you turn left. Does anyone know the name? We're 90% sure of returning this coming December, and thinking about options.

Could you be thinking of Palm Terrace Villas? I think there are 6 units and they look fabulous. The only other place that is "up a hill" that I can think of is Cruz Views. Nice, but much more modest than Palm Terrace, but better views. Oh yeah, there is Estate Lindholm. It is on a hillside and has great views.

It's nice to hear from old friends from the AOL board days. One year perhaps we can all have a big reunion in STJ. It was a pleasure to see Ruth & Ron, as well as Marie Pohlman last year at the Beach Bar. Hi to Pete from me! Hope all is well.

I would also recommend "Chez Suzanne" at Gallows Point..She offers a 15% owners discount It was a downstairs habor view but we loved it..We paid $289 a night in May..It was the least expensive of the units we could find at Gallows..
