All Packed and ready to go. Really stoked about hitting the beaches and leaving the Colorado River / lake area of Havasu.

Frickn hot here yesterday. Temps reached around 117. I so prefer the humidity and looking forward to it. From Florida so i know the temps quite well.

Thanks for all the awsome stories people posted. Seems like i got to know the place already. I'll report when i get back. Not bringing a laptop. Will take a ton of pics. Went to the store and bought myself a 1 gig storage card for my camera.

After work today. Off to Las Vegas and on my way to Paradise.I'll be the young guy wearing a cowboy hat and tattooed up.

Geez Cardinal, I was feeling sorry for myself as we're at 100 today. No I don't feel so bad! Have a great time!

I was a little worried about travelling to the Caribbean in June, but what I found was weather that was cooler than we had in Iowa. It was in the mid-80's the whole time I was there, and I got home to mid-90's and muggy. The sun was definitely more intense, though, so take plenty of sunscreen.
