Tammy,
Hi! A surprise Anniversary trip? Saw is so sweet! Is it the STT Ritz? For sure Mexico (Cancun?)

I vote for staying at the resort; eating a lot of room service; and eating by the pool. Massages everyday. Maybe even one of those interesting massages where they poor oil in your ear and soak your feet in herbs to aid digestion. (remember that? )

I love you!

Hi Tammy

You must be going to Cancun, I think it is the only Ritz in Mexico! It is very nice, we have been twice for long weekend getaways. Food and service is excellent! They have wonderful cooking classes that I enjoyed! They serve complimentary drinks during the class, it is fun! Fun Tequila tastings too! Very little reason to leave the Ritz, enjoy! Tripadvisor has a pretty active Cancun board!

If you are going to use the spa, I would make reservations before you go! You also might make at least the first 2 nights dining reservations too.
