What's this about a Bug Zapper?

I know I've read in a few posts recently about some bug zapping device that can be used as a medieval weapon against the mosquitos.
Where do I get one?
What is the cost?
Nevermind the cost, preventing the blood sucking vampires from invading my space...PRICELESS!

I didnt buy any...but I saw them on eBay and Amazon dot com. They look like little tennis raquets. The reviews were mixed, some good some not so good.

On STJ you can buy them at Chelsea Drug store and I have seen them in the States at the large camping stores like Bass Pro Shop etc.
They look like a yellow tennis racquet.

Chrisn: Here's a picture of the bug zapper. We bought ours at Love City Mini Mart, but Ruth also sells them at St. John Spice (it's about 18" long), I've also seen them in various stores since we got home. It takes 2 AA batteries in the handle and we couldn't have done without it! We used it mostly in the car during "The Great St. John Mosquito Storm of '07" when about 15 - 20 mosquitos would get into the car with us everytime we went somewhere. Not only is it an indispensable tool, it's fun to hear those skeeters "zap!". Only downside, they smell like burning hair - ick!

We have the kind that gets good reviews at St. John Spice for $15.00. The kind that seems to work the best and last the longest is the brand with the diamond grids. The face of it is also bigger than some we've seen elsewhere. We have several at our house that have had heavy usage and have lasted years.

They really are great. We've had one here for over a year now and still race to get it whenever we see a poor bug. It's also quite funny to challenge the teens around you to touch it. They always do it (cuz their so grown up you know) and the look on their face will keep you laughing for DAYS!!!! Dumb kids
