Lurkers are Cool.

I am in the unique position of being someone who meets forum lurkers all the time. I have to say, it amuses me to see how many people read read read everything and don't post, but are right here with us!
This week's lurker highlights:
1) Thursday mornings we often get a big delivery of our cargo shipment which is delivered to the sidewalk downstairs. We then have to carry it up, whether it's 67 boxes or 13 boxes. Up they go. This week, a man and his family were heading up as Ron and I were lugging boxes and he just grabbed one and carried it up. Later he confessed he was a lurker. Some of you will be pleased to know that I gave him many thanks and a free bag of Cruz Bay Grill Rub. I did NOT offer him five dollars. Lesson learned.
2) Today I chatted with a nice lurker lady and her husband (I simply cannot remember their names) and then a little later she was carrying around a box of Coconut Patties. She stopped me and said "Are these the ones someone on the forum said were so good?"
It's pretty fun to see how people remember the details of what they've read here.

Ruth...That five dollar story still makes me laugh and laugh. It's a lot better than what I would have offered

Oh, I am sooooo bad!!!

Mmmmm... coconut patties! I love those!
Maybe the next time KC offers to help you carry boxes, you could give him some Grill Rub... that is, if he ever offers to help again! LOL!!
P.S. Maybe you could start a weekly lurker report!

Ruth, that's great! I actually ran into lurkers on my trip, too. (Yes, believe it or not, I left things out of the trip report.)
They were from Texas and said they were so happy to have found the forum so they knew which bug spray to buy and to learn about the Neat Sheet- LOL!

Gardengal, great looking garden. Someday I will post pix of my lovely garden........cement. And I even have a gardener, who'd never be able to keep up with something like that.
Nice....

I've been lurking (and posting very occasionally) since 2002. Guess that also makes me an "old timer."
