It’s been ages…

Post by mbw1024 »

Thanks to Anthony I was able to figure out my log in info.

I am tired of Facebook and most other social media platforms but I never tire of STJ.

Was there May 2021. Not this year but already semi regretting that!

Will post some photos if I can remember how to do that! 🌴☀️🌴

I tried to post this photo on a FB group but got rejected because it didn’t contain STJ content. Which it actually did because I first discovered this wine at Stone Terrace and I was planning a return trip in my mind 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

Heck you, Facebook!

HI MB! I am sour on facebook too and rarely post there anymore. I hope we all get back here. I don't know if I remember how to post photos but might give it a try.

Anthony, the wine is Turley White Coat. We used to order it back in the day too!

I will check out White Coat. Don't forget the FAQ for help with posting images (and everything else) app.php/help/faq

Some people have reported logging in with Facebook issues - I can't recreate any of that. Have you guys tried it? I think you have to be logged out of your regular user first.

As for the wine, Rebecca has it right! I have had it shipped a few times from Turley.
We are heading to Central Coast wine area in May and Turley is in Paso Robles. Will probably stop in for a taste 🍷

I am glad to see the updates, and hope that this place will become active once more, and that a lot of the old names and faces will reappear - it always felt a bit like a family to me here, and I'd like to see that return!
Come see us!

Just dropped in out of the blue, haven't been to STJ in a decade and have lost touch with this site. I'm Robin in NC. Good to see mbw, liamsaunt, augie, at least a couple of folks I recognize. Hope you're doing well!

Hi Anthony, just a quick comment on the new format. When someone (like yourself) replies to an existing post, previously that post would "rise to the top" of the list in "red" indicating a new reply. Now it does not, and unless I scroll down through previous posts to find one in "red", I would never notice a new reply. Not sure if you were aware of that, or if it is happening to just me or others. Sorry if I'm not describing this properly, but I thought you would want to be aware of this, as to ensure people are easily seeing new replies. Thanks! Ed

Thanks Ed S for posting... I have been thinking it could just be me "user error"! Hopefully the "new replies" rising to the top is something that can be fixed.

So this issue is confusing me - if a thread/post is replied to, then it floats to the top. It will remain under the ANNOUNCEMENTS and then in the regular posts list, under STICKY posts - but it will come to the top.

Is the issue that that whole line, or the icon on the left, used to be in red? (I think this is what I am hearing). If that is the case, I need to work on how to bring that back - let me know.

Thanks,

Anthony
