Island Stones

Post by ncsusan »

We are renting Island Stones on our next trip to St John. All of the reviews we can find are from several years ago. Has anyone stayed there lately?

We stayed there February 2017 but not sure how it looks after the storms. What would you like to know?

We were wondering how the villa fared during the storm. All of the online reviews were wonderful but there aren't any after 2016. The last one that we saw said that the villa was "getting run down and needed some TLC". I was hoping someone was there recently and could let us know their thoughts.

How did you enjoy your stay there?

We loved the house. Great views, very clean, AC in every room. Only issue we had was the water pressure was low sometimes. Other than that it was great. I'm sure they wouldn't be renting it if it wasn't in good shape.

Thank you. We've booked it and are really excited to get back to St John.

I know you already booked Island Stones, but I had asked about this and a few other villas in the area on another forum a few months back. I had DMed with someone that stayed there, he said "Island Stones had A/C units throughout, although some worked better than others. We spent very little time indoors there with the great patios, pool, and views. At that altitude, the breezes are very consistent and I would dare say we were almost chilled at times"

I personally love that part of the island and don't think you can go wrong, hope you enjoy your trip.

GO PACK.

I've had my eye on that place for years. We travel just the 2 of us so we would never rent it, but it's a dream. Enjoy!!!
