I'm going to be in St. Thomas tomorrow night by myself, and I wanted to know where was the best place to go to meet people my age? I'm a 24 year old guy.
Thanks!

The Greenhouse in Charlotte Amalie on Veteran's Drive. They have a DJ or live music at night.
There are also a few places by Red Hook (East End): Duffy's, East End Cafe, Molly Malone's Irish Pub and a billiards place above Wok and Roll.
Hey, it's been a while since I've been out like a 20-something year old.

God, I wish I was young enough to know the answer to your question.

Kirk, did you ever go to the Sugar Mill? I was there once in the mid-90's. I think it closed after they had some problems after Marilyn.

Sugar Mill isn't ringing any bells with me. i mostly hungout in the bars in CA. there was a place up the hill on the way to the northside i would stop into every once in awhile.I can't think of the name of now, it was more of a local bar than a tourist one. i could almost always be found at yesterday's but they closed around 10-11pm most nights, then i would hit the greenhouse. BTW. i left in '87

Kirk, I know the bar you are talking about and I can't remember the name either. I dated a guy that worked there. I can't remember his name either! (Just kidding, I remember him, just not the bar)
Greenhouse would be my pick but remember to be careful downtown at night. It can be a little rough on the streets around the bar. Makes sure you take a taxi instead of walking. Trust me on that. You do not want to end up alone on the back streets of Charlotte Amalie at night.

I have some great memories from Sibs, and some not so good ones. I was thinking back last night and remembering what a crazy person I was back then.
(I wonder if the girl I threw a drink at remembers me? I sure remember her.....

Funny, i was thinking the same thing last night. this thread has taken me down old memory lane. i realized i spent 2 years of my life pretty well toasted most of the time. no wonder i couldn't stand the smell of rum for a few years after i came back to the states.

kirk, XIG, or pswlrw, do you have any old photos of STT or STJ to scan and post here? It would be interesting to see how things have changed.
