Wondered what was going up behind grande bay. Is it more of Grande Bay? At first I thought from a distance it seemed more by Battery Hill but not sure, and we never went up that way. Thanks!

It's a private home being built by the guy that wants to put a marina in Cruz Bay in front of Grande Bay.

What the heck is with these people that want to transform STJ with all the new marina proposals? I'm all for progress and a property owner's right to build but, I'm sure I'm the only one who is scared to think what STJ might look like in the future.

Thanks for the info. I admit, that for us, a lot of this construction has created an island we don't enjoy as much as we used to. Our last trip here as a couple was probably 4-5 years ago, though I was here last year with my friend. Husband/I just returned from a week here and considering it's "off" season, there were so many people from what we remembered.

Like Yogi Berra supposedly said....No one goes there anymore, it's too crowded!
