Where else can I search for villas besides vrbo? When I try there it shows the whole island even though I am trying to just search the coral Bay Area.

Have you tried going here and clicking on Coral Bay?:

Or are you trying to search by specific dates and it's giving you more than Coral Bay?

There are many good on-island rental companies, do you want a list?

I would love a list! I have used VRBO a lot but not recently. When I click St. John and then the Coral Bay are, it shows me everything on the island.....

If you click on the plus sign on the top right of the map, it'll zoom. Click a couple of times, and then re-center the map on the area you're interested in. That should get you what you're looking for!
