Haven't seen it, but it looks like a very nice place with a great view across the hill to Reef Bay. That's pretty darn high up the hill over Fish Bay. I would ask if the access road is paved; some of the roads over there on the hills are a little scary. Also, you are likley to have a stiff breeze up there. It may chill the pool more than is comfortable.

The off-season rates are pretty darn good for a new house.

The villa that we rent in Fish Bay is about half way up that same hill. This past trip, we drove up to South Shore villa just to see what it was like. We didn't go into the villa, though.

It sits pretty high up...about 1000 feet. By comparison, Bordeux mountain is about 1200 feet. The road itself was fine, mostly paved, but as steep as you would expect. The roads on island don't bother me, but I'm not sure I would want to do that one with a few bushwackers in me.

To get there, you would drive out the South Shore Road, past Ditliff. After crossing a little bridge, you turn left on Cocoloba Road. Turn right when that road ends. Take your first left and then climb like a mountain goat.

The Fish Bay area is gorgeous. If you are up high enough, as South Shore villa is, you get great views of the Southern part of the National Park...all the way to Ram's Head. And, because there is less development out there, the stars are brighter. Most importantly, it is a private area...perfect for adult activities.

There is a review and trip report about South Shore Villa posted on the other board by CincyGirl, who just returned. We have rented Sol Inclination for our November trip. It is right up there with South Shore Villa: their driveways are about 500 ft apart from each other but you cant see one villa from another. She did say the access road is completely paved up to both villas, but it is a one lane road in some spots, and in some places your headlights are looking towards the sky rather than on the road, as the road is that steep.
The main house at Sol Inclination has 2 comparable king brs and then there is a guest house below the pool. This is what makes it ideal for us as we are 3 couples. There is also a jacuzzi at Sol Inclination but none at South Shore Villa. You might want to give it a look the price is about the same or maybe a little less than SS Villa.

Jorge, we haven't stayed there yet, but do have it reserved for a week in November. While we were on the island this past April, we took a drive "up" to check it out. It was rented, so we could not see the inside, but it looks very nice from the outside.

It only took us maybe 10-15 minutes to get there from Cruz Bay. Most of the road is paved, a small section down low is dirt/rock but once you start the climb it is all paved. Great view and awesome breeze once you get up to the top where is sits. There is another villa next door, so I'm not real sure about the privacy issue.

Get ready for "shrinkage" (oops, did I really say that  ) in January in the pool - most are ice cold, even the ocean is too cold for me.

Of course "shrinkage brings" to mind the Seinfeld episode.
I think Jorge brings out our naughty side. :) Gotta luv him!
Too funny coming from you and I don't even know you. :?
