You get suckered into being on the board of your small time-share’s homeowners association and find it almost as much work as a full-time job. Good thing you’re retired. But once a month, you have a conference call with six other self inflicted sufferers like yourself to discuss WAPA rates, insurance, thread count, deck furniture and how to sell off the last weeks left in the inventory that just happen to be in hurricane season. Somehow you've made your addiction into a job.

Bill,

added and attributed your thoughts.

on a different item, does anyone know why weebly keeps changing words, adding deleting them as well. it appears to have started after the recent update to weebly.

anyone else use weebly and notice the problem?

thanks,
brian.

"When someone calls our little island "St John's", it is like fingernails on a chalkboard..." OMG YES! That makes me nuts.

Here's one of mine:
You wear a bracelet customized with the geographic coordinates for the end of the trail to Ram Head (and your kids each have one, too.)

(FYI If anyone is interested, I got them here https://www.wandererbracelets.com/produ ... s-bracelet. You can drop a pin on Google Maps and get the exact coordinates. Great gifts for people who have a special place.)

When you keep coming back to the forum for new posts and feel disappointed when there isn't anything new!

Addicted? Not us.....

Yes we have pictures of St. John all over the house
And
Yes we look at the forum multiple times each week
And
Yes we talk about it to all of our friends (more than they desire)
And
Yes our son and daughter-in-law have been 5 or 6 times
And
Yes we have gone with our daughter-in-law's parents twice
And
Yes we have thousands of pictures on our computer
And
Yes we have been there on vacation each year since 2010

But all of that is just coincidence, no way we are addicted.

(After reading this I think we may be in denial). :D

You book your next trip while still on island

Your daughter wants to take a Gap year and work on Island before college

Your wife uses a secret 'safe' word to shut you up when you start going on and on to someone about STJ

You shed a tear when you arrive and when you leave

You start a website and travel agency focused on STJ http://www.vacationplanningcenter.com/

I'm obsessed not addicted

Enjoy the Journey

Love the "safe word" idea...
My Amy usually just falls into a deep pout.

Dave,

The safe word thing is a definite win. Never thought of that. Only problem we have is that both Lisa and I are obsessed with the island. Not sure my wife or I would ever think it was necessary......lol
