Yep - however when www.weather.com (or any other weather site) predicts 50% chance of rain what that means is there is a 50% chance that it will rain somewhere in the 166 square mile area of the US Virgin Islands (and that rain can be as little as a 1 minute shower) and what it does not mean is it will rain 50% of the day.

I had the same question a few weeks ago as we were headed to St John for a two week stay and it showed rain every day as well.

To summarize, it was perfect every day but one. The sun was out every day and there was a scattered here and there. It's the tropics which comes with a touch of rain :)

I find it helpful to always have a hat with me when we go to the beach. That way, when a quick shower comes in, you put on your hat, grab a drink and get in the water to wait it out. Some of our best times have been doing just that!
