Lunch at Cinnamon Bay? (John Thomas)

Has anyone had lunch at Tree Lizards at Cinnamon Bay recently in addition to John Thomas? John - did you have a decent lunch there?
When we've been to Cinnamon Beach during past trips, the restaurant was deserted. Around 2008 or so, it had a reputation for lousy food. Very mixed reviews on TA.
Sometimes I don't feel like packing lunch, so thought it might be an option to get lunch. The menu online looks nice, but not sure its accurate.

We ate there a couple of years ago, Chicken Cesear Salads, nothing bad to report. However, there were cats everywhere.

It's ok for one quick meal? (ish)/beer. Pricey for what you get. Was there last year and stopped in to see campgrounds. The reviews made the restaurant seem more inviting than it was...just meh but with beer. I would suggest packing a lunch and just going with the adult bevs.

Hi! Sorry for the late response, still catching up on home life after our trip
We really liked the fried chicken and fries there, the burgers were ok, kind of on the mushy side. Like someone previously said, ok for a quick meal.
