Hi all - It has been a few years since STJ and really would like to get back next summer. Not sure it will happen that soon but want to see what is new. Our first trip we stayed at Casa Bueno and loved it and then the next trip we were spoiled at Bay Rum Breeze. It would be a summer trip and AC is a must with a pool and hot tub would be a plus but not mandatory. We are a family of four so need at least 3 bedrooms or more as son could be bringing a friend. Our kids will be 19/20 and 16. Love STJ. Price range around 4,000 for week.

for family with teens up, you might enjoy summerwind, the villa just below casa b. huge master suite and 2 other nice but smaller bdrms and a 4th, all with outside access and detracted from gr rm. huge greatroom with half bath and 40 ft long covered veranda across front and on same level as pool/sun deck. clean well equipped & maintained we stayed there yr after casa b and found comparable with similar views and lower rack rate.

we love mamey/bordeaux locations for views and ease to east end north shore and south shore but missed sunsets of west side, especially from gifft hill. i note cloud 9, plumeria & coconuts all have ac in loft bedrooms now if youngums are the nite owls and don't mind early risers bangin around in kitchen.
