Christmas Day restaurants open?

I will be arriving early Christmas Day and from what I understand the car ferry will be operating on Reg schedule (has anyone heard diff), but I'm also wondering if any grocery stores will be open or restaurants?

Some restaurants will be open. When I live there the grocery stores were not. Islanders take their holidays seriously, especially the religious ones. You might ask your rental management company as to the actual times for restaurants.

I don't think the car ferry will be regular schedule for all companies - I know one company ran their Sunday schedule for Thanksgiving so I would double check

Ok thanks! I ddnt expect much to be open...might need to take an extra bag of trail mix for Christmas dinner
Just as long as I make the car ferry over to STJ I'll be happy:)
