Sad to hear its being sold! Met owner in july - he was so awesome. Anyone hear rumors if new owners have been found yet?

Hopefully things will stay the same with whomever buys Cafe Roma, just like they did a few years ago when the current owner purchased it.

I'll admit that it made my heart skip a beat when I saw it for sale...it is one of my favorite STJ restaurants...tempting!

me too! My husband recently lost his job -- its our fave place in the world -- we felt like the universe was screaming at us! oh - we have ZERO restaurant business experience. But in our minds, that wasn't stopping us. What did stop us was money, a place to live, money!!
