Day 15
Everyone was completely exhausted from boat day and nobody felt like snorkeling. We spent the morning at the house and then headed into town for lunch at Waterfront Bistro. BLT

Day 16
We started out the morning at Hawksnest, tucked into one of the coves on the far left. You can’t get in the water from there but we were all just looking forward to relaxing and reading so this spot worked for us. Some people did end up walking down to the sandy part and swimming, but nobody felt like snorkeling.
We went into town for lunch at the Lime Inn. Caili’s baked brie:

After lunch we went to Jumbie. It was covered in sargassum:

There were stinging jellies too so we did not stay long. We went back to Cinnamon and swam the afternoon away.

Day 17
Last full day. We had planned to go back to Honeymoon but when we drove by Trunk the lot was empty so I called an audible. We swam for a couple of hours. There were many jellies in the water but nobody was getting stung so we stayed.

Caili had requested more sushi so we went to Caneel again. Tuna tartar

Last day
Packed everything up and dropped the bags at Connections, did some shopping at St. John Spice, and had lunch at Banana Deck. Crispy chicken salad

Final thoughts: it was sad to see how dry the island was this time. Writing this report made me realize how few pictures I took of the beaches this time. It just did not look the same as it usually does. That said, one other difference on this trip, which I am guessing is attributable to the dry weather, was that there were almost no bugs! I usually get eaten alive, but only got one mosquito bite this trip. I would rather have the lush green hills and lots of bites though. Maybe next trip.
I mentioned earlier that I like to collect sea glass. Here is the sea glass I found on this trip:
