Going to the Beach

Its not STJ
But it will do! My family is heading off for a week of fun in the sun, so I'll be mostly offline. I'll miss you guys! I know I am gonna have a heck of a time catching up when I return !

We are at the beach (not STJ:( ) ... settled in & we have FREE WIFI. The addiction is being enabled. Just saying hi!

Sure you can. We are in VA Beach. Its convenient to us and (IMHO) a little bit nicer than Ocean City. We've been coming here in the early off season (September) for years, but since my little one is starting Kindergarten in the fall & we are already being bad parents and pulling her out for Thanksgiving in STJ we decided to come for the memorial day week. Man, I needed a vacation!

Hope your enjoying your time down here.....I live down here in norfolk, about 10 mins from va beach.....nothing compared to the VI's (where I will be in 53 days, but who's counting) but it's ok....Enjoy

I am, and have always been a Jersey BEACH Girl - living within 3 minutes from our lovely beaches.
While NO beach can compare with St. John's -or many other Caribbean island beaches, for that matter, they are extremely different, and have their OWN BEAUTY and feeling of MAGIC- which can delight and take your breath away!
Ahhhh, the sound of the waves & gulls, the array of happy-colored beach umbrellas & the smell of French fries at the Jersey Shore (and maybe Virginia Beach too.. I've never been, but I have heard it's lovely!!!) - it's not so bad! TRUE, it's not the soothing, serene blue-green paradise of St. John... but it will do
