I am scheduled to arrive via Sun Country at 3:40 PM. Picking up a car in STT(hertz) and hope to make a CostULess stop enroute to the car ferry. I have been told that the last car ferry is 6:30 PM. Is that doable? Or do I need to skip the grocery/liquor stop? Again assuming the flight arrives on time. Do have some luggage.

As I understand their contract Hertz does not let their cars go to STJ - you may want to check that.

Yep Exit is correct - Hertz does not allow their cars to STJ and $1,000 fine for doing so.
