Just got my trip report done. It was quicker to do this year since I was able to bring my iPad with me and take notes while on the trip. I highly recommend doing this for all you trip report buffs.....

I am glad you had another fun trip! Of course, my favorite part was that you saw a manta ray! I have not heard of them being around the past few years, but that is definitely a manta in your photos. We saw one at Maho a couple of years ago, but didn't get a good look at it due to poor visibility. You have raised my hopes for another sighting on a future trip.

Yes it was definitely the highlight of our trip that's for sure. They said the ray has been coming around in February so it was definitely a shock to see it in October. He was actually doing back flips when we spotted him in the water. We weren't sure if he was showing off or actually eating? Either way it was a great sight to see for sure! I hope you get to see him too

Small world. We were in Little Exuma. We were sitting and there was another couple. They started talking with us and she started talking about the forums. She recognized my name and then she mentioned you and how she reads your reports religiously

Thanks for taking the time for your trip report and pictures. You mentioned a few places we have not eaten at and we will have to give them a try in Jan. Glad you got to see a Manta we were lucky enough to see a few years ago when it was coming close to shore at Frances. They are magnificent creatures to see.

Nice trip Susan. I saw that manta in August out by the mooring balls at Maho, it's very cool. I must have missed it but where is that house? It looks very nice.

Just a fantasic report and beautiful pictures. I would love to stay at that villa, there are 8 of us who will be on island in 16 short days, can't wait for the return. Thank you for taking the time to share your report.
