We are two couples, one being a newbie, looking for a vehicle that will work for the 4 of us. We have rented the Liberty in the past for the two of us and it was great but not use if it will be enough for 4 of us. We aren't big packers but 3 of the 4 of us are pushing 200 lbs.
HELP!

4 door wrangler. much more power. much more space.
i am pretty sure you will be happy of the extra power with 4 adults in the car.

Thanks, that's what I'm thinking but they are thinking price so I hate to go bigger if we don't need it!

We've rented the 4 door Jeep Wrangler for the past few years and really liked the space in the back for hauling things to the beach (we've used with four and five people in the vehicle). I did a little checking and didn't see a difference in price - where are you renting from?

Northerngal, ok, so I looked up the website and there is only $12 difference for the week in price, unless they are quoting you different rates? I'd pay the extra $12 for the space and power.

I'm glad you pointed that out! The forms they sent me showed over a $100 difference! I'm good with $12!!!
