On the Travel Channel this week was the Top 10 Beach Resorts of the Caribbean. I believe that was the name of the show. STT and STJ where on the list. Sorry don't remember which number or resorts. But when they were talking about the STJ beach resort they talked about weddings, and they showed a couple, as if they had just gotten married. The ladies name was Pia. Would that happen to be the Pia on this list? Or is there more then one Pia on STJ?

I saw the better part of that show. Caneel was the resort for STJ. I think it was The Ritz for STT, but can't remember for sure. Little Dix Bay made the list as well for that region. Number one was a resort in Mexico.

I tivo'd that show. They mentioned St. John, St. Thomas, Virgin Gorda...maybe one other. That was a great show. I'll probably watch it again before we leave.

I think I have been to Maroma. I know we were at a hotel called Maroma in Mexico, but I'm not sure if it's the same one. It is a small resort south of Cancun. I know it was near Playa Del Carmen because we went there for dinner on night. Is that the same place? If it is, we would definitely not go back. It was fairly new at the time, so maybe they've done a lot of upgrades. It was fine, but nothing like STJ. Plus you look out and just see water. No islands or any other kind of scenery. Just flat, scrubby land and water for as long as the eye can see.

Don't even get me started on the Atlantis. Terrible experience!!
