Mosquitos

It's been a bad week for mosquitoes. Lots of on and off rain. Check out this press release from the Health Dept. Be sure to bring along long pants and long sleeved tops.

Good to know, I would like to be there now. I didn't get bit once in my past 6 visits. The Bug Bam bands work for me. They are all natural, no deet. There was lots of rain there in August, the mosquitoes are out in force I guess.

The skeeters are out for sure. I went for a little morning shore fishing yesterday and even with a good breeze the no-see-ums tore me up. I wore long sleeves and jeans, but they swarmed my hands and face. I regrettably didn't bring the bug spray and ended up with no fish and a lot of bites of less desirable variety.
