Several days ago, Sloop Jones lost the love of his life, Barbara Alperen. If you shopped at the studio you very likely met Barbara and enjoyed her assistance.
There will be a memorial on St John this coming Sunday, August 3. Many friends and customers are wearing their Sloop clothes that day in her memory.

So very sad...my prayers and love are with Sloop. Hoping that Barbara is at peace and that Sloop may find it along the way:)

So sad when anyone passes

While I won't be on island on August 3,I will be there in spirit,and I shall wear my Sloop sundress here in Pennsylvania that day in Honor of Barbara.
