One month and counting

Really sorry we're going to miss you by a couple of days. Would have been fun to meet you in person. You and Pete could have reminisced about Windsor High! I'll try to do a real time trip report to help with the pre-trip angst.

PS- We like a little Pusser's in our painkillers. Gives it kind of a smokey kick. Some would say burnt but I say smokey.

What do you all typically do when there are several ships in town?

We arrive on the 29th. We are staying one night on STT and then heading for Coral Bay on the afternoon of the 30th.

A little something to consider is it is Carnival on STT. The first week of May there are several day time events for Carnival that may effect your travel time to the airport for departure.
Is anyone interested in the meeting up at Concordia for Happy Hour/Open Mic on Monday 5/5? It's a great time. I think Lauren (of Lauren and Bo) and Larry (of the Tourist Trap) host it and draws lots of local musicians and they are very welcoming to tourists as well, even children.
I've been counting the sleeps until we leave. This morning I commented on a post and realized my count was off when I saw my ticker. We actually leave Nine days EARLIER than I thought. Doing the happy dance over that mistake!!!

We go to Maho….The cruise shippers usually go to Trunk or Cinnamon,since they have limited time.And go early,since parking is limited.Congrats!!

My vote would be for Francis Bay. It's one of my favorite spots, with good snorkeling on the right side all the way out to the point. It is far enough away that the cruisers will not find you, and there is a good amount of shade.

There are some mighty fine people arriving on April 26th We'll be at Zozo's for dinner that night. I might have to have one of these first:

Hey!! Thanks for the Carnival on STT heads up. We'll be arriving on 4/28, can't wait to be back on STJ!! On high cruise ship days we normally just avoid the area from Cruz to Cinnimon til mid afternoon. Hope the next 4 weeks for everyone goes by in a flash, then time stops!

Another group for the 26th and can't wait. Be on island by 3 and happy hour shuffle begins!
