PIA,
Thanks for the applause this morning at the stop light on the Centerline out of Coral Bay. I really didn't deserve it. I started to back up to the let the young man in that cherry Camaro who believes that red lights are just a suggestion, by but someone came up behind me so I couldn't. Thank goodness he relented or we all could have been there for a long time. I am usually not that obstinate. But it was still nice to be cheered.

Wait. What? A red light on Centerline? I don't remember that. I used to love it that there were no traffic lights on the island. When did that happen?

Wait. What? A red light on Centerline? I don't remember that. I used to love it that there were no traffic lights on the island. When did that happen?
Actually there are 2 where they have narrowed the road to one lane until they get the roadway shored up after Otto washed some of it away. Most of the time everyone is very patient.

They are lying to you. The streetlight on centerline Road is next to the new WalmartThat's going to open in May
The tourist trade on the island is trying to hide that fact from the mainland. A Home Depot and McDonald's open right after hurricane season
Oh wait today is not April 1 I'm a little early
