Good Morning!
I'm new to the Forum,but not to the island!!! St.John is my Zen place,and my hubby and I are Blessed to own a home there.We visit about 6 times a year,and hope to become snowbirds more sooner than later!!!
We recently bought a piece of property on "the rock" as well,so hubby get to live out his dream of building a home….WOOHOO!!! Good thing we are both very patient,and understand "island time"!!!
We're back on island in April!!!

Sounds like you are a couple after my own heart...Doing what I dream of.
Not sure I will ever get to live there, but will be trying to get there as much as I can. Too bad presently it will only be twice a year (If I'm lucky) as no retirement in our near future.
I'm 57, and hubby 58. Snow birding is what we are shooting for also since our home is in NE Pa. and the snow and cold are getting to us more and more as the years go by.

Please come back and post often..It would be nice to see how you progress on the new house..Love to see and hear about others living my dream!

Welcome to the forum! Lots of great people and info here. I would love to say I visit 6 times a year so that being said I am up for adoption (doesn't matter if you are older or younger than me I'm not picky ) Maybe we will run into you on Island in April. Have a wonderful time in your "zen" place!

Wow, 6 times a year, I wish we could swing that! I think that might be a forum record, at least for someone who isn't a villa owner

Truth be told ,I am a villa owner.Brian and I own Villa Tesori.We house hunted for a few years,and our dear friend Gretchen from Cruz Bay realty took us to many villas til we found Tesori.It felt like "home" the moment we set foot inside!
Brian has been on the forum for some time,and I've been a daily "lurker".But I got things to ask,and things to say,so I signed up!!
I'm looking forward to meeting VIOL peeps when we get down there next months!!39 wake ups!!!!

WOW! Your villa is amazing! The locale looks lovely also. It's out of our range for renting, by a long shot...But I would love to someday check it out in person.. If I had this to come to..I would be here 6+ times a year for sure..I'd probably never leave in the first place. You are very blessed. I look forward to enjoying your future building stories. ..

Pia….that was DREADFUL!!! I was NOT happy to see that they did that!.Looking forward to all the renovations to be DONE,so we can get back to the business of enjoying the beauty of our island!!

Welcome to the forum! Your house is beautiful. I have considered renting it a few times because it is the perfect size for my summer group. We already have our accommodations booked for this summer, but if your place ends up on next year's short list I will be in touch!
