We saw lots of running Forumites as we were at the ACC water stations. We had quite a bit of rain and some winds but athletes and volunteers all seemed to be taking it in stride. ( no pun intended!)
Great day for everyone!!

I was there! (Wearing my forumite wristband, too!) It was a wet run, but tons of fun. My DD, DS, sister and niece ran it too. We all loved it. I'll do a trip report soon*.

EagleRay: thanks for working a water station! I tried to say thanks at each station - we couldn't do this fun run without all the great volunteers!

*Might be 'island time' soon.

Congratulations!

I go jogging on a regular basis and like to jog when I'm on STJ, usually the Francis to Leinster run that is fairly flat, but I still can't believe how people can do Centerline road. That first ascent out of Cruz Bay alone seems nearly impossible to walk up, much less jog. And there's really no relief for the first 4 miles. It's basically straight up and straight down.

Congrats again. Would love to read more about the race and what it's like to actually run it, especially those first few miles.

Still can't believe there are people that can do it averaging under 6 minutes a mile. That's insane.
