Yikey-Crikey, will it ever end?!

Although it is very beautiful, with some of the snowflake clumps being 2" across, enough already!

Thank goodness for the webcams that take me away to sunshine and tropical colors.
Feel sorry for the folks who have to put off their vacations by a day or more because of this weather. Every hour stuck here is one less spent in our beloved St.John! Come on Spring!

Feeling your pain here in SOUTH CAROLINA.
Seriously. We live in THE SOUTH for a reason!!
We have over 5 inches of snow and ice. DONE with winter!
Less than 6 months 'til STJ, though....

ColumbiaSC, I know what you mean.
My son just moved to Raleigh,NC from Erie,Pa thinking he saw the last of snow. I think it followed him!
Obviously it's not as bad, but still...

I live in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and I think we have gotten about the same amount of snow this whole winter as you all are getting in the last few weeks. You have my prayers and my sympathy.

Since weather normally travels from West to East, I can tell you that we are experiencing a melt down in the Denver area with 60 degree temps. I have my doors and windows open to air this house out of bad juju.
Spring is on it's way!

My mom (forum member ifloat!) called last night, helpless with laugher. She moved from Chicago to the southern US, and this is her first winter there. She was trying to narrate the newscast: "There's a guy in a huge puffy coat with a pretty little bit of snow behind him....HAHA!! He said it's coming down fast and hard!!! I can still see the grass!"
Still, I think we can all agree that enough is enough. No matter where you live, I hope it warms up soon.

Atlanta needs to warm up and get rid of those winter conditions! We fly through there March 7 on our way to a much-anticipated two weeks of warm sunny days and beautiful beaches. The whole point of going to STJ in March is to get away from the cold and snow of the Midwest!

Hey nikkiki I didn't know that you're ifloat's lovely child! Multi-generational forumites... that rocks! I remember some of her beautiful photos from trip reports.
Shoemak those pix crack me up! We tend to be a bit smug here when it comes to our bad-a$$ weather and how we can handle it. I saw some quote on the CNN ticker about one of the southern state governors (I think) saying 'you think you know how to drive in snow, but you don't.' And of course this is the winter that my (over) confident 15 y.o. son is taking driver's ed! (Would it be wrong to let him practice driving when we go to Little Lameshur?)
I'm running out of room to put all the snow. The sides of my driveway are tall white walls and my drive is getting thinner and thinner. I had to shovel a pathway to get my recycle bin out from the side of the garage. Sigh. BUT... island time soon come!

Shoemak, TOO funny! Loved it! So true.
But seriously - that's why we live in the South!! We don't want to deal with snow and ice! Y'all "Yankees" can keep that up north!
We're hanging in there, though. Looking like it will be 70 next Friday. Woooot!!!

I can sympathize. This feels like the never ending winter... We have had the grayest, wettest winter I remember in a long time. Ice , snow, and very little sun. Tonights forecast... 14-22" of snow.. Saturday 1-3" .. and another storm on Monday??
