boat charter

this May will be our 8th consecutive vacation on the rock. for several years we have talked about chartering a boat. this time we are going to get it done. I know John Brandi is most forumites favorite, however we are considering Tropic Power Boat Rentals mostly because the have a much larger canopy. trip advisor is high on both and there seems to be little to separate them. would truly appreciate your input.

I had never heard of Tropic so I looked at their website. My concern would be that they are licensed to do charters as I see that they mention a guide, which usually means that they do not have a 6paq license.
I try and only use boat companies that are licensed for charters, but that is just me, maybe.
