Ladies, I'm a lady in my fifties looking for a flattering supportive swimsuit. All I'm finding are old lady styles! I'm thinking a tankini for bathroom ease. I have checked ll bean and lands end and was not thrilled with any of them. Any suggestions?

I've purchased tankini's from Kohls. They have good structure and support.

I have become a big fan of Spanx swimwear. They have both one piece and tankinis.

I got my mom a sports bra type bathing suite top with a loose fitting rash guard shirt for her first trip to STJ. She has a couple tankini's but I thought she would like a different option for snorkeling. I thought she'd be a little less self conscience with the loose surf shirt, but still cool in the heat. She said the tankini's she has are really thick material which are hot and take forever to dry.

Athleta has swimsuits. If you have a brand you like that fits well just google that company and see what they have.
Good luck.

I am 58, large chested and a diving instructor. I find that Tommy Bahama fits me great. They are sturdy, some have panels that help hold some bumps in and have underwire tops.

After becoming a mom I switched to tankinis; I have several and they're all from Kohl's.
You can order from kohls.com and then return whatever you don't want to the store, assuming you have one near you. It's really nice because you can buy $500 worth of swimming suits and try them on in the privacy of your own home...it's the only way I buy swimsuits these days.
This is the kind of top that I have (and love):

I love the suits at the referenced link! I'm bigger up top so I can buy the tankini separates. Quality is good, so are the prices. Check it out

I second the recommendation for Athleta. I think they're more sporty than lands end.

I've purchased a bunch from EverythingButWater.com. They are good quality and last for years.
