Do all rental car companies in STJ include insurance with the price of the rental? I rented from cool breeze and the car was a piece of crap BUT I did not have to worry about ANY damage because I could not have hurt it anymore than it was. Insurance was included with the qouted price of $344 a week. I saw alot nicer cars from other rental companies but I am just wondering what happens if you get a dent in one of them

We rented from CC and they told us as long as we were up front and told them about any dings we wouldn't be charged

This issue has reared its head before but for what it's worth we always rent from STJ Car rental and we use our AMex and have never had any issues whatsoever.

We rented from C & C as well. While parked at the VINP parking lot during the reef bay hike, I left the windows off of the Jeep. Whilst coming back on the boat at the end of the hike, A torrential downpour hit. We came back to 6 in of water trapped on the floor of the Jeep :( After bailing and some hand squeegie action, most of the water was out. C & C didn;t even blink when I returned the car :)

Insurance question

Hi there. Most companies DON'T cover physical damage in the price. Most USA carriers extend coverage to the USVI'S. Call your agent and ask the question. There are credit cards that will also extend coverage but may have some exclusions on types of vehicles that would be covered. I'm an Allstate agent and my boat insurance along with the car insurance extends to the USVI'S....remember..left left left..God bless..Bill
