I found this link on a different site -
http://womenwholiveonrocks.com/?p=1877
My family has traits of all five types. My husband proudly wears pink (and yellow and green and martini glass bedazzled) shorts and the # of STJ t-shirts is reaching a crisis point.
The entire site is pretty cool and if you like reading island-related blogs, check out the contributors page. The one woman lived, until recently, on Saba Rock.

That's pretty funny. The only one I identify with is the first, the island groupie...though I will say that while I do remember servers/business owners, I don't expect them to remember me and I certainly don't give the nicknames. I also own zero STJ t-shirts. But I do think I know a lot about STJ and certainly stalk all things STJ related when I'm not on the rock. And I have a countdown going in my head at all times

That is a great blog. Now on my list of "What not to do on your first trip to St John." I'll share with my tribe.

I'm pretty sure I will fall into the Groupie category though, as I have been inhaling every bit of information I can, in anticipation of our virgin voyage to St. John.

Leaning towards Patagonia Adventurer without the trappings.
Last trip the previous renters of our villa left behind four brand new Tommy Bahama beach chairs--the greeter pointed them out with a shake of his head. Poster People! (We never touched the chairs--too good for us.)
