New Year's Eve

Does anyone have any suggestions for New Year's Eve with a 17, 15 and 12 year old? … wondering if there are parties at the hotels or something to do as a family? Thanks!

It has been a few years since I was on island for NYE, but I never found anything all that exciting. Jost is the place for the party and I think that many island business know that they can not compete with that in any way, so it is pretty mellow.
Dinner out and maybe some live music at a bar was the extent of my STJ celebrations or the make your own party at the villa.
Hopefully someone local will jump in and prove me wrong.
