Possible update on the NO sign

After reading about someone sending an email regarding the NO sign to the tourism bureau yesterday, I decided to join the plea. I sent an email as well. Here is what I sent:
Good afternoon Ms. Beverly Nicholson-Doty,
As a yearly visitor to St Thomas and St John, I have a daily habit of checking the St John Spice Cam. http://www.stjohnspice.com/spicecam/
The presence of the new NO sign near the dock has really caused some distraction. We, along with many other visitors, have always enjoyed writing a quick note in the sand when we arrive. Our friends and family back home love to see that we made it and are on a much anticipated vacation! The sign on the beach as viewed on the Spice Cam definitely causes both a distraction and obstruction of the view of the sandy area near the shore. Would it be possible to move the sign to a different location that would put it out of the camera range? I think it would make the webcam much more “tourist friendly”.
We love your islands and dream of being there as often as possible. Those of us who check the webcam often would appreciate anything you could do to move the sign. The webcam gives us a moment of sunshine in our cold winter days.
Kind regards,
Nancy

AND... here is the email I found in my inbox this morning! It is from Beverly Nicholson, Commissioner of the USVI Tourism Bureau...
Dear Nancy,
How wonderful to hear you keep in touch with our islands through the St. John webcam.
Thank you for alerting us to the obstructive nature of the sign.
Please be assured that your concern is being taken seriously, and we will be notifying the relevant authorities to adjust the positioning of the sign.
Also, please let me know when you are next on island, so I, or a member of my team, can welcome you back personally.
Sincerely,
Beverly N. Nicholson
I really wanted to ask her to take it down completely, but I understand they have their reasons for thinking it is necessary. But... at least we may get the sign moved. Can I get a WOOT WOOT!!!
